A Midsummer Night's Dream (1999)
Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind; and therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.
I must say, I could not understand this movie precisely. What I mean by this is I could not follow each and every dialogue, but overall, got the story. It is because of shakespeare english. It was nice watching for a change.
Once Upon a Time in America (1984)
As boys, they said they would die for each other. As men, they did.
Overall, I liked this movie, but its little long. I must say, I have always liked gangster movies.

Half Ticket (1962)
It is the story of a kind-hearted playful young man (Vijay). Unable to withstand his pranks his father drives him out of his home. He goes about his life doing odd jobs but never lasts longer than few days in one place. He meets a girl with dreamy eyes (Rajini) but pretends to a half-witted boy (Munna) to win her heart. Meanwhile some cops are chasing a diamond thief (Raja Babu) who hides the diamond in Munna's hip pocket. Rest of the plot revolves around how Raja Babu tries to retrieve his diamond, how successful Munna and Rajini are in getting rid of the bad guys.
movie was interesting, but i thought i will love to see this movie, but i was little disappointed. the fact that i have changed, and i am not of those types anymore who will truely enjoy such movie. i want more serious or good comedy. this doesnt mean, kishore kumar was not good. he was outstanding as always and so was madhubala... and her aunt. of course.
Ankur (1974)
Surya, the son of a wealthy landowner, returns home from the city after graduating from school and is expected by his father to get married and take over a piece of land. He settles in not without conflict with the other people from the village, whose traditions he does not share. He uses his position to begin a love affair with Laxmi, who is unhappily married to a deaf-mute drunk. When Laxmi is left by her husband, Surya invites her to live at his house, much to the disdain of everybody else, who see this as a breach of the caste system. Their love affair ends abruptly when Surya's wife arrives. Rather than keeping to his promises, Surya drives Laxmi out of the house; when it turns out that she is pregnant, she suddenly becomes a threat that must be disposed of.
well, another movie, which i wanted to see. thanks to netflix. to me, surya was coward. and the mute and deaf guy was good. his wife, no comments to laxmi.
Salaam Bombay (1988)
The story of Krishna, Manju, Chillum and the other children on the streets of Bombay. Sometimes they can get a temporary job sellng tea, but mostly they have to beg for money and keep out of the way of the police.
well, something more than this. i wanted to see this movie since i was kid. never got chance. ten million thanks to netflix. to me, this movie doesn't deal with any particular situation but shows things that happen on the streets of mumbai. these are something i dont want to think about, or maybe i am just defering it.
Best Laid Plans (1999)
Ever feel like the world is conspiring against you... You don't have to tell me where you've been... Everyone sucks, but us..keeping a relationship alive can be murder.
I kept thinking what will happen next. but at the end. love matters. if you love someone, you really love. it knows no logic but only love.
A Bronx Tale (1993)
One man lives in the neighborhood, another man owns it. A devoted father battles the local crime boss for the life of his son.
Saddest thing in life is wasted talent.
I loved it. To me, it was perfect movie. everything was good. something which I wanted to see and admire. o yeah, the black girl was amazingly beautiful and so was her smile and eyes... perfect...
House of Sand and Fog (2003)
An abandoned wife is evicted from her house and starts a tragic conflict with her home's new owners.
To me, the movie was average. little sick rather when I think of the cop. but the truth is we all are animals. rest of the characters were good. I liked that iranian lady. She was really nice.
